Unitalsi for Children – Piazza del Popolo, Rome

In one of the most iconic locations in the Italian capital, Piazza del Popolo, Gaetano Lanza was commissioned by the non-profit organisation Unitalsi, in collaboration with Equipe Eventi, to produce a large-scale public event designed for children and families: Unitalsi for Children.

The event transformed the historic Roman square into an open-air theatre, offering an extraordinary show that combined acrobatic performance, music, and technology. The evening’s stars were the SONICS, a renowned Italian aerial acrobatics company famous for their breathtaking suspended performances: spectacular evolutions over 30 metres high, performed on scenic cranes against a striking backdrop of dancing fountains of water and fire.

The magical atmosphere was further enriched by the participation of well-known figures from the worlds of entertainment and politics, who came together to support an initiative with powerful symbolic and social value.

An unforgettable event that blended world-class entertainment with a strong charitable purpose – where the smiles of children, eyes lifted to the sky, captured the true essence of a project created to spark wonder, foster inclusion, and celebrate the beauty of shared experiences.
